The project is an infill site on an original residential garage block to construct 2 semi-detached houses designed to match the adjacent properties. House 1 consists of a
2-storey 2-bedroom house and house 2 is a three-storey 4-bedroom house. All constructed to comply with Part M4(2) building regulation standards
The site is a residential garage infill site between an existing terrace of houses and an apartment block. It is located off the main A4 road. The site was delayed for some period whilst the client agreed on party wall matters that were very restrictive upon the construction. Planning restrictions were very difficult to overcome on a tight site. Bi-monthly meetings were held with the residents’ association to ensure community liaison was maintained throughout the course of the build.
