The project is an infill site on an original residential garage block to construct 4 houses, three terraces of two-storey two-bedroom houses and one three-storey HMO with 4 bedrooms and bathrooms for critical care workers. The building is a traditional foundation, brick and block façade, pitched roof and flat roof structures with high energy efficiency performance.
The site is located at the rear of a block of apartments with a small access route on a side road. The site boundaries have significant limitations, including a children’s playground. The site required high-level logistical planning and regular community liaison. The scheme has been put forward by the client for a number of regional awards.
